I back up VM's for clients nightly off site so if something catastrophic happens I can either run a copy of the VM to their office or pull a whole blade... (they're all dell's)

One thing @moh talked about was dual streaming - full resolution recording to a local NVR and a less robust stream (but still sufficient for object recognition) to camect...

At that point though using Xeoma and Blue iris would be sufficient without having to spend additional money on camect I would think
