[Solved] Hubitat Safety Monitor not working at all

I've been messing w/ the Safety Monitor for a few days now, but for some reason I cannot get it to do anything. I've configured several things and tried many different ways, but it will simply never send out an alert (either through SMS or Pushover), will not turn/blink lights that I setup, nor will it play any sounds on my Google Home Speakers either.

Here's my setup:

Thanks in advance for any help.

Did you configure Arming/disarming options? at the bottom of that page?

The water alerts should not have to be armed to work but the intrusion does

Looks pretty much the same as mine.
Have you configured Arm/Disarm.

What he said above.... :)

Yes I have set that:

I also manually armed and when I open any of my contact sensors, or poor water on my leak sensors, nothing happens.

I already did completely uninstall the App too and re-set everything up as I found a thread here that said to do that, but unfortunately that didn't help either.

You manually arm HSM how? Through the app page?

Try this, remove all your alerts except for turning on one light and try again. Make things a little simpler to see if the problem is HSM or the alerts you have set up.

Also, all of your sensors swap values in the edit device page?

You can also get a list of the HSM events by going to the settings page and then clicking on events.

Yes

Yes they do

Ok I'll give it a try with starting simple

Can you get a screenshot of the events page?

No events visible besides the arming/disarming, but it does show "ALERT!" in the top

Okay, i think your hub time might be off. Because if you just armed it now, it should have been at 11:53, not 10:53. You're only 2 hours different than me if you're in Mountain time.

After the system was armed, did you refresh the events page? Because if it's showing alert, but you don't have an alert event which is also not supposed to happen.

Most of the pages in HE do not auto-refresh on their own.

And you don't mention whether the light came on when you opened the contact sensor. Did the alert occur?

No I did arm it at that time. I just rebooted the hub and confirmed the time is right:

I reset all my setting so it'll just monitor 1 contact sensor and turn on the hallway lights:

I then "Armed" the system with the button on the page

Opened the front door, and nothing.... No new events either.

Front Door Contact sensor works fine though.

Oh and the "Apps" page actually shows there is an "Alert"

You didn't actually do what I asked and make the alert turn on only one light. I think your complex alerts are your problem because you are asking HSM to turn on a light and also flash that same light. That won't work.
Also, many devices don't support flash.

make sure the lights you are trying to flash are capable of flashing, i had a problem with a rule with flashing because the switch wasnt capable of it and the rule error-ed out and didnt run

Ok I'll try that when I get home again. Thank you all for your help so far.

I had the same problem with my setup and it turned out to be the dimmer switches that weren't flash capable.

It could be that one of your flash lights is throwing an error and blowing HSM out of the water. Whenever something doesn't work that you think should, open the Logs and watch what happens. Be on the lookout for ERROR there in red.

Ok so the Flashing thing was the issue I guess. Once I remove that it now seems to work. Going to slowly add things back in now. Thanks again everyone for their help.

Putting in protection in HSM against this failure for a light that doesn't support flash.

Does Caseta support Flash?
