If RM doesn’t support those commands, you should be able to add custom commands to RM for now.

I've looked into it but it wasn't obvious how to do it.

So I only see media player as an option in Custom Commands.
Then selecting Music Player I see this:

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere that Actuator typically works as a catch-all. No idea why.
