[SOLVED] Can’t remove ghost nodes

You could just leave it where ever it is and it will work as a repeater. Just leave the device installed and give it a name like 'Hiding Leviton Dimmer Plug' or something so you know which one it is.

Bingo. Found the third Leviton. Had it in a drawer. Wife found it and plugged it in thinking it was a surge protector.

Love it...I think many (most?!) of us have had a mystery or two solved when we discover something a family member has unexpectedly done.

I have one of these in the box. Looks just like it.

Hot dog we are getting somewhere!

It cant be in a box, the devices you are trying to remove seem to be operational, plugged in and powered up. If it was in a box you would be able to do a "Refresh" until it fails and then remove it.

I had those devices, but not powered on. Included and excluded them hoping for anything.

Waiting for son to visit and look under beds and behind stuff. This thread needs to end. Many thanks to everyone who offered suggestions.
