Smartwings + C8 + Group + Google Assistant

I know there are other topics and I think I am on the right track, but I keep getting lost and I’m not making any progress.

I switched from SmartThings to the C8 hub when it was released. I just got some smartwings shades and I am using the driver that seems to now be native in hubitat. I created a group, but I cannot add the shades or group to google assistant.

Smartwings pointed me to this community, so I’m reaching out here.

You should be able to add them to the Google Home app. There is this community integration.

The native GH integration can't do shades/blinds directly. The community GH integration can, AFAIK (I've never tried it).

Since leveraging virtual switches for control of my 3R blinds was useful in other ways too, I just use those to bring my 3R blinds in with the native GH integration.
