had 2 motion sensors that were previously correctly connected as motion sensors that I had to reset and remove. However, upon readd they are now showing up as smartthings moisture sensors. additionally when I try to manually change the device to generic zigbee or back to the motion, still doesn't work. going to try a reboot of the hub.
After you manually change the driver, are you hitting Saver Device and then Configure? I think you have to do that since you are changing the driver. [Please correct me if I have that wrong]

if you provide the fingerprint for this model, i'll update motion sensor driver.
I tried it again after reboot, and they were still read in as moisture sensors, however, this time I was successfully able to change it to generic zigbee motion sensors.
Sorry I'm a newbie, how do I pull the fingerprint. Also I never got it added as a smartthings motion sensor just a generic one, so do you want that one?
the simplest way is to switch drivers and use the driver named Device, then click getInfo, in the live logs there will be a log entry starting with fingerprint:, copy and paste that whole line here, then switch back to the driver you were using before.
I lost track of the SmartThings Motion Sensor generations. I think Samsung did too. If you have this one (see photos), I believe the correct driver is the Generic Zigbee Motion Sensor.
