I haven't bought any fgbs-222 snart implants in a while. They are unavailable on amazon or other US sites from my searching now
Anyone know if they are still avail from a US supplier/site?
There are a bunch of new ones being sold on Ebay. Only one is in the US for $74.99, the rest are in Poland, which makes sense because they are made there.
Thanks, thats weird though, so maybe its dead on arrival going forward. Ebay is hit/miss on available versus gouging and/or pirated clone
The poland sales are probably EU frequency for zwave?
A few months later, and I'm still not seeing any Smart Implants available, but no official discontinued notice that I can find either... that is a bummer as I have quite a few home grown devices and DHT22 sensors tied to the smart implants.
I don't see anything close to a commercial replacement/equivalent for them either.
Fibaro has been rebranded by Nice (at least that’s the case in the EU). This happened some time ago so all Fibaro stock has been slowly sold off. All of the products made by Fibaro should be available exactly the same under the Nice brand with two exceptions. The Nice items are all white rather than black as Fibaro were, and Nice have hiked the price per unit to almost double.

Yup. I won't be buying any more Fibaro/Nice for my setup. The products remain unchanged. The price hiked Dimmer is Z Wave 500 which only supports S0 is a complete PITA if you have a C7/C8 without the ability to run Z Wave JS (simplicity studio is needed for inclusion without security) Example of the UK cost now:
Of course if you're in the UK and need Dimmer 2's I have four listed on eBay in perfect working order at a more palatable £22 each (as I continue my migration to Hue for lighting)
FWIW, this will work with just about any secondary controller. I used an old Aeotec minimote to include without security other devices that otherwise defaulted to S0. Much less work to setup relative to Simplicity Studio.

This is not Nice. Motivated to design them out, (assuming ones fails in my setup) but its really kinda niche.
Dang, I thought I stumbled on a possible replacement from our friends at Zooz: this beast was new to me.
But looks like its just poorly named as a raspi/ha yellow radio module for a controller, and only assuming either raspi or HA yellow for the main hardware.
Sounded like a client device to me from the name.
@oktoko , you can have mine for postage.

@velvetfoot the ZAC93 you mean? Its not what I initially thought it was (a zwave-gpio client device) so doesn't fit as an fgbs-222 replacement.

Oh, thanks for the offer. I'm ok at the moment since I've got them deployed; for me its a matter of designing them out, and not continuing to integrate with them if there is something else near equivalent that is still sold and supported . This would have been 'Nicer' as a refreshed device with LR support, instead of just a 2x cost for same device.
