Slow initial connection to HUBITAT hub

Over the holidays, I’ve been cleaning up my Hubitat installation. That meant I was in and out of the Hubitat web app or the app on my iPad or iPhone. The Hubitat app on each platform sometimes feels like it takes forever to wake up and activate; at other times, it starts immediately. The connection to the app acts as if it’s asleep and takes a while to reconnect. If the connection is idle for five to ten minutes, it takes a while for the following action. Is this normal behavior, or do I have incorrect settings?

I hoped to solve the slow connection problem (just now - 55 seconds) to the hub; I assigned the hub a static IP address, fixed the network speed to 100mbps, and used the recommended subnet mask. At this point, I’m just accepting the slow connection speed, but my frustration is growing.

I’d be more than happy to try if anyone can suggest an approach. Of all the apps on the computer or the iOS devices, this is the only app that exhibits this slow connection. I know it points a finger, but I fully can accept I’m overlooking something. I don’t know what I’m overlooking.

Hardware used:

HUB: C-8 hub 2.3.7.140 (using beta in hopes of reaching a solution quicker)
Hub power: the provided power supply
Network: Deco XE75 Deco AXE5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6E (The Hub is wired)
iPad 4th gen operating system 17.2
iPhone 15 operating system 17.2
Mac: Sanoma 14.2.1 (23C71)

Subscriptions: Hub Protect – Active and Remote Admin – Active

This problem is the same on Mac and iOS platforms, local networks, or remote signing-in.

Can you PM me the hub id? I can take a look at the engineering logs on the hub.
