Looking for a smart solution for this door as far as shades go. Currently best idea i have is some curtains with a switchbot on it. trying to figure out if that will work w/o a hub tho.
IKEA shade? They are zigbee.
i use vertical blinds and (2) Axis gears to open/close and rotate them.
I just replaced 18 year old non-smart vertical blinds with a blackout curtain + SwitchBot 3 curtain robot. The integration by @tomw will operate them with some workarounds described in the main thread.
If your door is 72" you'll need 84x120 minimum sized curtain. Bigger (150) would have been better. I used grommet curtains.
