Siren Options

I am interested if anyone has a good alarm siren option?

I would include a 24v version as I have the Zooz 700 24v relay I use on my solar setup to control yard lights which allows you to control 2 items with Hubitat. You would need to add a 24v 120v transformer to power it unless you have solar like I do

Anyone done anything other than the battery powered ones which seems to be a shrinking market.

I had a Dome siren, but it died. So wondering what clever alarm siren options people have come up with. I use to have a GE Concord alarm where I could integrate Hubitat if I wanted, never did, but an option.

I have ordered a plug-in and battery powered replacement, but looking for more serious options.

Inside and outside. Keep in mind some cities require permits for outside sirens.

Thanks.

I use this one. I know you said 24V. It's easy to adapt to 12V. I control this with HE and use it with my HSM.

I have that one above on my garage side, very loud. The strobe burned out though, but I have had it for over 8 years.

It's on my main alarm panel and also tied into a ZooZ Zen16 multi-relay for HE control independent of alarm panel.

Weird. I think that's the exact one I have from my alarm system installed years ago. Looks the same from memory anyway. Loud as hell.

I have this one for inside.

You can program custom sounds too, so I have it say stuff like "there is a package in the package bin".

Also have it do its siren thing when the zcombo smoke/co detector in the garage goes off; it's pretty loud for the siren sounds, of which there are several.

My solution.. generic 12v car or motorcycle alarm siren (small, robust, loud, weather resistant), generic mains-power to 12v adapter, smart outlet (can be zigbee or zwave).

Cheap, easy, not tied into a specific "smart siren".

I bought the Ecolink and sent it back. Basic Rules did not work with it which is fine, but also not being able to create a Dashboard item to turn it OFF was a no go for me.

Yeah and I have 24v to 12v step down adapters I use for my yard lights and to power my solar trackers so already familiar with that setup to use these. 24v only because that is the Zooz 700 default voltage.
