Sinope switch not updating the status

Yesterday I installed one Sinope light switch which according to the docs should be using the Generic Zigbee Switch driver.

When I turn the switch ON/OFF using the device details page the switch turns ON or OFF but the status on the details page doesn't update unless I click on refresh.

This is also happening when I try to toggle the switch from the dashboard.

Any idea why?

Try clicking CONFIGURE on the Device Details page to see if the switch then starts reporting status updates.

Note: If you had to manually assign the driver type to this device, you also have to click Configure after saving the driver type change. This is true most any time you manually change a driver.

Hello @thitemple and all,

Are you experiencing issues with your Sinope switchs? I suppose it is a SW2500ZB, right?

See, I have 7 of those and they are all connected using the "generic Zigbee switch" driver. When discovering them, some have been directly identified to this driver but some other have shown up using the "device" driver. At this point, I had to go into the "device info" section to change it's type and then do the "configure" button so they start receiving data. Up to here, I'd say there's no problems.

BTW, I would add that I was not experiencing any special issues with them when they were connected to my SmartThings Hub. But now, connected to my new hub, I'm finding them to be unreliable. I mean the actualization is not always following the actual state of the switches.

See, I have created a Dashboard for lights and when looking at it, sometimes I see it telling me a light is lit when in fact it is not. And when clicking on it, the timer takes for ever... doesn't actualize at all and stay stuck.

Any help or feedback will be more then appreciated.
Thanks,

If someone can provide the fingerprint of the version of this switch that's joining as the Device, I'll update the driver with this data.

Mine is working perfectly but I can provide that @mike.maxwell. How do I do it?

if you temporarily replace the existing driver with "Device", then click getInfo, the fingerprint will be sent to the live logs.
If you paste the text of that here I'll add it in, thanks!

Is this what you are looking for?
