Shelly Switch EDGE mode

I am planning to make all the switches in my house zigbee switches. The 2 options I have are:

  1. Use zigbee shelly switch with existing typical up and down switches to control them with alexa and HE. My only question is can these shelly switches be used with HE in edge mode as I have been reading all over internet and HA pages. and also if shelly is compatible with HE.

  2. Buy standard zigbee light switches which are most likely tuya ones rebranded with AU certification.

I would prefer to go with 1st option as that will probably be more economical and also reliable. Any thoughts?
