My use case is thus…..I have multiple ceiling LEDs configured to be controlled by new Shelly Gen 3 0-10V dimmer with a SPDT momentary switch. The Shelly firmware rev’d up to 1.75. I disabled the bluetooth. The lights are working as expected locally with the switch. And all control from the Shelly UI works well.
Within Hubitat, I installed Daniel Winks integration via HPM(Shelly Webhook/Websocket Drivers). The Shelly parent device is installed as a device type of “Shelly Plus 0-10V Dimmer”. This resulted in three children, dimmer and two button switches. The dimmer child is type “Shelly Dimmer Component”. The buttons are “Shelly Input Button Components”. I also disabled bluetooth where I saw it on these devices.
This is my first time with Shelly and children relationships. I found limited visibility to and direct control of the parent or child devices. I learned to MIRROR a virtual device linked to the dimmer child. The mirrored device works fine with slider bar to set level.
My problem is I wish to be able to turn it ON/OFF both directly and through the VIRTUAL SW and ROOM LIGHTING. The virtual switch does control the device by setting the LEVEL. However, the virtual device will never SWITCH the Shelly lights OFF. My goal here is to be able to toggle on/off with the virtual switch and to turn it off via room lighting.
Additionally, the DIMMER 0 child switch functionality works but this child device is not visible in ROOM LIGHTING? (however, dimmer child is visible in GROUPS AND SCENES)
I have worked tirelessly on this for some time and I am happy to have gotten this far. But, I can’t see the solution to lacking the ON/OFF switch functionality. I am hopeful you might shine a light on the answer. Thanks in advance….
