Hi all I am trying to figure out an automation so if someone has an example I would appreciate it. I have about 45 dimmers that support prestaging. What I am looking to do is have the dimmer brightness default to 100% when mode=day and default to 60% when mode = evening. If a light is on at the time of the mode change, the dim level should immediately adjust to the new setting. if the dimmer is off at the time of the mode change, it should turn on to that new default the next time it is turned on. Is this possible? Thanks!
All easily achieved with the excellent Room Lighting app. You can vary lighting per mode and "adjust lights on mode changes" is an additional option in the Means to Activate Lights section.
