Set Color of LED Strip

When setting the color of a Kasa LED Light Strip using Custom RGB, using #FF0000 results in red. Setting a variable (string) to #FF0000 and using it results is a completely wrong color. This happens with any color I try.

Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks.

I have never used the Kasa LED strip; so I'm just throwing a dart at the board here.
But... what happens if you enter an rgb value? rgb(255, 0, 0)

I changed to using a custom action actuator for setrgb using 255,0,0 with a variable, it works. Thanks.
