Got a new strip as warranty replacement from Sensative, It pairs fine (unlike the one it replaced) but something is not right. First, it gets picket as "Device", which I found odd. Manually changed to Generci Z-wave Contact Sensor and all I was able to get from the device is battery status (and initial open state). I noticed the logs show some sort of alarm but they are ignored. What am I missing here?
Sensetive support suggested I changed notification type (parameter 1):
So tried with both value 0 and 2 and I am not getting anymore different results.
Now it says "Skip: Notification: " or doesn't show any message. Yet, the battery report goes thru once a day. @Hubitat_Staff any idea what this means?
