I was on amazon and found these bulbs, Sengled E12 LED Candelabra Bulbs, Color Changing RGB LED Light Bulb, Chandelier Light Bulbs,Works with Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT, Dimmable Candle Bulb, Hub Required, 5W(40W Equivalent) 450LM, 2Pack,
which had an accompanying picture stating it supported hubitat:
However, I cannot find a driver that works with these bulbs at all. They are discovered via zigbee but that's it from there I have no communication with the bulbs, no status or anything of the sort. My post is to confirm if they are in fact supported. This is the details in hubitat for the bulb:
Try changing the driver (this is "Type:" on the device page) to "Sengled Element Color Plus" or "Generic Zigbee RGBW Light," then hit "Configure" after you save those changes. If it works with anything--and I'm fairly confident it will given that they claim this and the other bulbs work fine and should be nearly identical from a Zigbee perspective--it would be one of these. They're pretty similar except the Sengled-specific driver has some tweaks you may (or may not) like.
It would probably help if you exclude one of the globes and then go and pair it again and paste the device finger print here so that it can be compared.
Also are they being paired within eye sight of the hub ?? Just asking.
admittedly they are not within eyesight. My hub sits downstairs and these bulbs are one level above. However, all of my other devices have been added to the hub in the same manner without any issue. They are discovered by initially have no device driver associated with them, even though it successfully identifies the manufacturer:
@juan.concepcion I just got mine today and they work great with the Sengled Element Color Plus driver. It does not find the device driver correctly, so you need to go in and change it to the one shown below. Then hit the configure button. Give the bulb about 2 minutes to update and now I have complete color, CT, and dim abilities.
All the HE guys need to do is tie the Device finger print to the driver.
EDIT: Just adding the second one I find I need to pick 2 colors/adjust brightness/change CT before it starts changing everything. It is finicky at first for sure, but once it start responding it seems to behave. Time will tell.
I know it is wacky, using the driver above try, set the dimmer to 50% 1st, then change CT color to 5700, then change color to red (or whatever). It worked for both mine. I have a C4 what hub are you using?
Odd so I removed a bulb - re initiated the discovery and it only found 1 of the 2 bulbs (of course as a previously known device) so i'm thinking it may be a bad bulb. I did get one of them working.
Old thread, but thought I would share. I bought six of these on sale (Amazon) for ~$20 ea. They would pair with my hub fine but then would become non-responsive within a few seconds or minutes. The zigbee mesh is solid in the location. After multiple attempts I gave up and sent them back for a refund.
Installed a Lutron dimmer on that circuit instead; no multi-color but works flawlessly 100% of the time. Also MUCH cheaper than six bulbs, and considering all the time I spent trying to get the Sengled bulbs to work MUCH less aggravation!
