How do I go about sending you the device?
@mike.maxwell, I'm happy to send one over your way if still needed Mike. I picked up a 4 pack for $40 a few weeks back and I'd definitely like to get them working. I thought I'd read they were compatible before I purchased them on Amazon, but I may have come across the older model when I was searching quickly. 
FWIW, I'm on a C-7 for now, but I have a C-8 waiting under the tree for me in a few days. Still haven't even started to think about what that migration will need to look like yet 
I know these seem like they're useless, but just in case, here's my debug logs from the last few minutes (not sure if this captured the reset and re-join that I did, but the only differing value I'm seeing is the "C8" or "1F" values for the key "value"). This doesn't seem to correspond to when I "open" or "close" the contact sensor itself though.

Did anything happen with this? I am happy to send over the four I have been working with and not having any joy.
