You have 3 good repeaters for a large number of end-devices. I would recommend adding more repeaters.
I have more than 3 repeating devices. Are you saying that only 3 of them are actually doing their job?
I also have the strange developing problem of my signals being in the low 50s right after I added the external antennas and now they back in the 70s and 80s
Yup.
Your neighbor entry table only shows 5 repeaters. How many do you have? Also, how many total devices?
20 devices total. 5 are repeaters.
Happened again today. HAD to unplug hub and the two RGB lights went unresponsive. Crazy thing is that one is about 8 feet direct line of sight from the hub.
I can't remember how long you've had those bulbs but if I was in your situation I'd be thinking about returning\exchanging them. The behavior's just nothing like I've ever experienced with any of my Sengled bulbs.
I have. Itâs definitely a mesh issue. I had joined one in a difficult place behind a bunch of wire frame wicker baskets in an oak cabinet. It had three strong repeaters nearby and wouldnât stay connected. I joined it to my other hub with nearest repeaters being Sylvania recessed bulbs one floor down and it has worked perfectly.
That could make sense in some cases, but he said one bulb is sitting 10 ft away from the hub.
I'm wondering if since killing the weekly reboot, I may end up giving the mesh an extended time to heal to a better state. I know a week is a long time for that but it's a thought.
Another thought, I have external antenna on my hub. I have the hub in the rack cabinet and the antenna stuck to the side of it with magnetic bases. My numbers are still kinda garbage but they weren't when I had the hub mocked up and hanging underneath just after doing the mod. Maybe I need to move the antenna to the bottom of the cabinet. The top is not an option since it's a couple inches from the ceiling.
Yes
Double yes.
When looking at the routing table, what if devices simply don't appear there? I also have Sengled bulbs, and occasionally I notice that 1-2 of them miss a color change command. They appear to be responding, yet they don't appear at all in getChildAndRouteInfo.
That table only shows the devices connected directly to the hub and one hop away, so not seeing a device listed isnât something to be concerned about.
Me too :). My hub had a power supply issue over the past several days and rebooted many times. Each time Iâd have a few Sengledâs (both RGBW and W) âfall offâ and had to rejoin them (10 quick plug/unplugs while in zigbee discover).
I have a sonoff repeater far away from the lights, and two DOGAIN zigbee outlets and this horrible TV backlight (Sylvania General Lighting 73773 Full Color Lighting Kit Sylvania Smart+ ZigBee Flex XL - check out the LQI below).
Any suggestions? I assume itâs the Sylvania causing issues?
Also, why do I not see my Sengledâs listed at all? I just went around and re-added them all.

Sengled will only show up in the Route Table Entry if they are repeating through a device at the moment you check that endpoint. I believe (foggy memory problems) that it may also be that if they are taking two jumps or more they may not appear in the table either. The report is a point-in-time report, rather than an static routing listing. FWIW have devices that I've never seen in the Route Table Entry that I'm sure must be repeating through something, but don't show up.
