Secure Pairing of Aeotec Z-Wave Plus Magnetic Door / Window Recessed Sensor

I just noticed my front door sensor (Aeotec Z-Wave Plus Recessed) is showing:

  • zwaveSecurePairingComplete: true

This is a fairly old device in my environment so I am guessing it was paired before the option was added to do secure pairing only for locks and garage doors.

What should be my course of action? I don't see any evidence that it's causing any problems. Should I unpair and re-pair it so that it will no longer be securely paired? Or is that just a waste of time if I am not seeing any other issues?

"If it ain't broken" would be my thought...

Not worth changing it. Secure devices use 2x-3x more bandwidth via the additional messages, but if it is just a few normal devices (not power meters) I wouldn't bother changing it.
