So either that app is not compatible with the cloud API that your lock uses, or you have your username and password entered incorrectly in the app.
It must be the Schlage app. I really appreciate your help, and the help from the others who replied. This community is fantastic.
Thanks for that reassurance because there have been a few other people recently where we responded in a similar fashion trying to help with things, and they got all cranky with everyone saying we were rude and not helpful!
