I have a Sage Doorbell sensor. In RM I can select that as a button. But in my own app it won't show up as a button in preferences. Using this:
input "doorBellButton", "capability.doubleTapableButton", required: true, multiple: false, title: "DoorBell Button"
Are you using the built-in driver? It's only a pushableButton.
For some reason I was thinking all the buttons were the same. But that worked. Thanks.

Great device you can buy for cheap on eBay. I’ve had one for years using the inbuilt driver and have Alexa announce a ring at either of my 2 doorbells. Only issue with it is no battery reporting so I converted mine to USB power. Last picture is the Sage.
I forgot all about that thing having a battery. It’s been installed for over a year. Still working. So kinda forget all about it.

If I remember correctly when the battery starts getting depleted mine would randomly trigger itself.
Just an FYI in case someone has a similar occurrence.
What driver worked for youo?
‘SAGE Doorbell Sensor’. I think it’s a built in driver.

Yes it's built-in, I use the same driver, ‘SAGE Doorbell Sensor’.
