I am not sure if I am doing something so maybe someone can have a look. This is a test of Rule Machine to see if I can get push notification. When True, I do get the outlet turning on and OFF when false. I don't get the push notification. The number is as follow +15556667777
So, I have found that turning “On” either the Push or Notification switches seem to break SMS text messaging (IIRC from earlier testing.) Try leaving both of those turned off, but still fill in your message and phone number to see if it starts to work. I see an error in the Live Logging if either is enabled when it tries to send an SMS message.
Bruce (@bravenel) can you please explain the purpose of the Push and Notification switches?
I get this in this error
2018-02-11 16:03:27.237:errorNo signature of method: ruleApp.sendNotificationEvent() is applicable for argument types: (java.lang.String) values: [TEST Motion sensor Kitchen Zigbee Motion] on line null
with the following setting:
Not sure what changed but I am getting notification this morning.
Sorry, these are left over artifacts of another platform, and currently have no purpose in Hubitat. This is an area of the app that I simply have not cleaned up. We will begin to offer notifications in the not distant future. I guess in the interim I should simply remove this section of code to avoid confusion. The only part of this section that works are SMS messages.
