Rule Machine Manager Fails When Connecting Remotely

I don't know if other are seeing this issue. For me, Rule Machine Manager:

1. Fails ONLY when connecting via the app on the iPhone via a remote network connection. See screenshots below.
   

   
   
   
   

2. Rule Machine Manager connects successfully the app on the phone when it detects it is on the local network.

Nothing appears in the logs. I have tried the standard turn the phone off & on. Removing & re-adding the app. No luck.
