I'm late to the party, and thought I knew the depths of Rule Machine but today I learned something new.

I would have added this to the other threads, but they are so old as to be closed :-).

Did you know you can add COMMENTS to your Rule Machine code? Development added comments in the "Delay, Wait, Exit or Comment" at the bottom of the list of actions.

Some of my rules get complex (confusing if you will), and having comments really helps document what I'm trying to do. Thank you Hubitat!

I have not felt this giddy about RM since I found how to issue a "custom command" to a device (like my thermostat) :-).

I would leave a comment but the forums don't support Rule Machine.

Yes, that's a very useful little feature that I'm using a lot. :+1:

BTW: Before that, I used deactivated Log-Actions. :sunglasses:
