I’d like to have controller on the wall to control build in thermostat controller. There are lots of nice smart temperature controllers, but those are for different purpose. Any ideas?
Could you please, be more specific what you are trying to achieve.
Each Thermostat for sure has a temp control functions.
What is a "built-in thermostat controller" (biult-in what)?
If you are talking about HVAC Thermostat (which is not clear from the post) I believe all Nest Thermostats has a native rotary temp control. Just change your existing thermostat (assuming system is 24V AC and C-Wire is available or can be added, or maybe Nest itself can take care about C-Wire) with Nest Thermostat of yours choice.
I'm not trying to control thermostat directly. I'm trying to find battery powered dial or touchscreen to control Thremostat Controller in Hubitat that is like this in dashboard
There is a Tuya Zigbee Rotary Knob and it looks like there is a custom driver for this toy. Also you can use a Matter Tapo P135 Kit which has a wireless button for dimming and on/off control. Just use this one as an Encoder and forget about it primary use, ie do not connect any light. In both cases you will need to create a RM rule.
