Rooms "Generate Dashboard" Selectively hiding some devices to the dashboard

I have turned on the "generate Dashboards" on the rooms tab and I was wondering is there a way to hide a device I want in the room, but not on the dashboard? I went in and deleted the device and then later when the system refreshed it re-added those devices.
