Room Lights app problem

I want to control some laps according to the time table
I install mode manager and configure periods, it works ok, modes are changing.
I'v installed Room Lights
select device to automate

when in app i test buttons Activate and turn off they work ok
but automatically the lamps don't start, what I'm doing wrong?

do we need to configure anything for

Means to Activate Lights

Means to Turn Off Lights

or we can leave them without any configuration

Are you trying to set a round the clock schedule for the device and you always want RL in control of it? (Tip RL "activation" does not mean the light will always be ON, just that RL would be in control of the light).

First you need a way to activate the light, f you are going for 24/7 activation you could just set the means to activate as a time of the day, like 8am, which would make sure it stays activated.

Second there is a setting within the means to activate to turn on that will force the light to change as the modes change.

Thanks for replay. In my case the problem was that I set Means to Activate Lights and Means to Turn Off Lights but I didn't set Set Up Lighting Periods, when I did it everything starts to work fine :slight_smile:
