Hoping someone can help point me in the correct direction here, as I've been struggling to figure this out.
I have a second property that I am trying to get simple automation going for when we are there, and also when we are not there. When we're there, looking to have certain lights turn on at a certain time of the day at a specific color and dim level, but then change to other light settings as the day goes on. I currently have a a virtual switch in place with a Rule Machine config to turn the lights on in the morning, and then Room Lighting configs to change light settings at various Mode Manager settings throughout the day. Another virtual switch is in place to turn the lights off at bedtime via HomeKit voice command, or a specific time - whichever comes first.
I'm struggling to have the lights change to the correct dimming and colors during the day via the Room Lighting settings (I have one in place for each room) and the Mode Manager setup. Some lights dim and then the colors usually never change as programmed correctly.
Is this the correct way of going about this since I'm only looking for lights to turn on in the am, and then change settings (dim and colors) during various times of the day? I'm only wanting HomeKit control so the wife or I can say Siri turn on/off if needed, but also to trigger a goodnight routine via voice or time, no other complicated rules involving motion or anything.
When we are not there, I'm wanting the same with the exception of not so many lights being on during the day, and no voice command for shutting everything down late at night.
Below is a screenshot of one of my Room Lighting for just one of the rooms, as well as the Rule Machine rule to start everything off each day.
Current setup is:
New Hubitat C8 hub
Apple HomePod mini to run HomeKit
Singled Element Bulbs (Classic and Color)
Thanks in advance.
