My room lighting rule works fine, except for the occasional times when the garage man door is opened, but no entry is made into the garage and therefore there is no motion detected. In that case, the lights stay on. Is there anyway to modify my rule to handle this? Or should I just use Rule Machine?
Maybe try adding "All contacts stay closed" as a Turn Off method, plus some delay so you're likely to get a motion event (and prevent the lights from turning off) before that timeout expires?
