I have used the roku connect app for a long time. The connect app stopped working about a week ago. I removed the tv from the app and readded the tv with no problem but non of the commands are received by the tv. I have a reserved IP address for the tv as well. I factory reset the tv and deleted the tv, app code and driver code and reinstalled everything with no response from the tv. I am also not able to see anything in the logs for the roku connect app. The logs do show actions I do from the remote. Any ideas?
I just had an update to my Roku's and 2 of the 4 I was using in Home Assistant would not work. Went to the issues discussion on the home assistant site, and several other people had mentioned the same issue. The fix was to go into the ROKU menu: Settings -> System -> Advanced system settings -> Control by mobile apps -> Network access and verify it is set to "enabled"
Not sure if it is the same issue. But, it is worth a check. Have no idea how two of mine were set to "limited" and the other two were working fine other than something may have reset on the update
