On one of my RM4.0 rules, I am getting the following error when attempting to access the“Manage or Create Conditions” screen.
Worst case, I will attempt to restore the app from backup. It is a complex rule that has a connector variable... So I’m a bit concerned about having to do that.
C7 Hub version 2.2.5.224
@bravenel, tagging you in case you are interested to know about this error. If so, let me know if you would need more information. (And if it is something that can be fixed... )
These are the conditions:
Unfortunately, that error message provides no useful clue as to what might be causing the error.
That’s unfortunate. Is there value in trying anything to find more information?
Maybe Soft Reset and restore from backup. Otherwise, no idea.

@bravenel, unfortunately, even after restoring a backup from file, the error remained.
Let me know if are interested in reproducing the error, I have been able to export the rule and confirm it can be reproduced when imported on a second hub. The text from the .json file is unfortunately too large to include here.
Note for anyone needing a workaround in case of a similar issue:
I was able to change some of the devices being used (I moved from using HubConnect to HubMesh) with the following steps:
- Clone the rule and update the devices to the new ones in the import screen (I LOVE this relatively new functionality!!!).
- Re-create the connector variable in the new rule
- From the device screen, go to the connector variable device and then follow the links under "Used by:" to find all the apps using the variable and update them to use the new one.
- Delete the original rule. (To avoid both of them running at the same time. Pausing or Stopping would also work.)
