Title says it all: when you Export a rule, the default filename ends in ".txt", but when you Import a rule, the default filename search is for ".json". You don't see any of your previously exported rules unless you change the filename filter in the Open dialog to "All files (.)".
Win11, running Firefox. You are correct - I see the multiple custom file types pre-selected with both Chrome and Edge.

So since I'm using Firefox, I need to manually change the file extension to .json when I export a rule?
Firefox has an option in the file picker:
Seems to default to JSON, but you can select All Files to get at anything.
