Yes, both are built-in.
I think this is either an @mike.maxwell or @bcopeland issue... Maybe they have some insight...

UI says expression is false, but value is true

@rlithgow1 Is this the same/similar bug? I'm not able to select a Thermostat Mode or Fan Setting as a RM5 expression. I get the exact same behavior whether I've selected the current physical thermostat (via the Generic Z-Wave Plus Thermostat device driver) or a Virtual Thermostat, The values selected from the Select thermostat mode and Fan setting pulldown menus refuse to stick:
FYI I'm up-to-date with 2.3.2.141 on my C7. (BTW, it was kind of a pain in the butt to have to create a .GIF to show the dynamic behavior of the RM5 editing interface. Does this forum software have an option to upload video files?)
UPDATE: I have created a new RM Topic with essentially the same information as this post but I will leave it here for the time being as it may be related to this topic's issues.
