Relatively minor UI issue seems to have cropped up in the latest firmware. The UI of the apps page doesn't update the state "repeating" when it's stopped on truth change, the UI also shows "repeating" within the app settings even though the repeat is no longer happening. Selecting update rule clears the repeating state in the app page and the settings page.
I'm thinking this could be a symptom of the application state update problem you are already working on?
