Heyo.
I am running a C-7 with the latest patch and ran into a small snag. Went though the forums and found that the RGBGenie touch panels are supported. Based on what I was reading I ended up purchasing a ZB-3008 zigbee panel. I was able to get it to connect to hubitat however it identified itself as a zb-3027.
It did generate 3 child 3027 devices however sending commands to these childs threw out an error in the logs saying that the device doesn't support the command. I went ahead and setup the mirror me built in app just for testing and I was able to get the panel to control a light strip by physically pressing it however half the panel didn't function as expected. For example the middle balance button under the power button only adjusts the hue to the following values, 8, 20, 22, 27. The play button also did the same thing cycling between a preset hue value.
Is this panel supported? If not should I swap it for the scene version zb-3009? Any way to bind different functions to buttons such as the play button to trigger an event on the hubitat side?
It it possible change the panel settings directly like how you can send zwave commands?
If this doesn't end up fully working and the zb-3009 isn't recommended, would it be better to swap out the zigbee version for the zwave version of this panel?
