So, I'm not sure why but it seems that the original post I made reporting this problem got deleted. No matter, I will post again.
It sesms that whenever a bulb in Color Temp mode is included in a scene, whenever that scene is activated inside of Hubitat, the scene does not report as "On" in Hubitat as soon as you move away from that scene. The steps necessary to reproduce this error:
Create and capture a scene with a color temp bulb or an RGBW bulb in Color Temp mode. After clicking done, the scene list shows the scene as "On", correctly.
Turn the bulb off. Scene will show "Not set" correctly.
Activate the scene. This can be done via the scene device, a rule, the scene itself...it doesn't matter. The scene will show "Not Set" in Hubitat. There is no way to ever get that scene to show as "set" again. The scene device will go on if it is turned on, but the scene will not read as "On". Also, pushing the button on the scene device does not make the scene read as "On" either.
It also does not matter what you have for the setting "Ignore activate switch off" either.
And the current values for the 1 device in the scene.
As you can see, they match the scene settings. This happens with Hue CT bulbs, Sengled directly connected RGBW bulbs in CT mode and Hue integrated RGBW bulbs in CT mode. It does not happen for bulbs in RGB mode.
I don't understand why the last thread I created on this topic was deleted. This is clearly a real issue and not something that I just made up. I would greatly appreciate a response. Thank you.
Really? Because I can do it (and have) over and over again. I've even posted the logs several times now. I'm happy to capture anything you might need. You go into a scene, hit "Activate Scene" and it still shows as "Not Set". Refresh the page, still "Not Set". Hit done, the list still says "Not Set". This is a brand new scene I just created so I know it's not a corruption over time issue. Unless my whole Scenes app is corrupted. I would hope that someone would be able to help with that.
I've noticed something similar with at least one of my Scenes. I think I could be having two different problems though.
I just tested it and checked the devices against the settings listed in the scene and they were spot on, but still showed the scene as off. Hitting re-capture does not show any changes under "Captured", but the status does update to "On". Turning everything off, then re-activating the scene results in all the devices correctly turning on to the captured settings, but the scene still shows "Not set".
Then I tried it again. Turned everything off, activated scene. "Not set". Re-captured. This time the values changed. The Hue RGBW wasn't set back to the captured CT value. (2066 vs 2032)
Tried a third time. "Not set". Re-captured, it shows "On", but this time no changes to the "Captured" values.
I have seen this as well and attributed it to CT bulbs not going to, or not reporting, the exact CT level that was set. It seems that maybe there needs to be a little wiggle room in the CT. Maybe if the CT is close enough we give it credit for being set to the scene.
