Reset C5 to use as a Hub Mesh Hub

What are the steps to reset my old C5 hub so I can use it in a hub mesh with my new C8 hub? I've already done a soft reset.

Should I reset the Zigbee and Zwave radios also on the C5? That won't impact the devices I already migrated (via backup/restore) to my new C8 will it?

Thanks

Boot up, reset both z-wave and zigbee radio. Goto yourhubip:8081 and do a soft reset after.

So can i just do the radio resets since I've already done the soft reset? It won't impact my existing devices (now on the C8)?

Nope... Reset the radios though

Thank you.

If you migrated Zigbee also make sure both hubs are never on the same channel or disable zigbee on the C5. The underlying zigbee network address is copied for migration but does not change on the old hub even with a reset.

Done. I have them on different channels. Of note, there are no devices on the C5 (yet). BUT, it's showing that zigbee status is offline after I reset the zigbee. Is this normal?

Might have to power down, pull power and reboot to bring it back online. Not sure if that's normal after a reset but its not normal during typical operation.

So I did that. I have a message in the upper right corner saying "ZIGBEE NETWORK OFFLINE" but the ZIGBEE status window in settings no longer shows that. Just blank (screenshot attached)

The pan id is there. Have you tried connecting a zigbee device to it?

So, I couldn't even change the ZIGBEE Channel (it was stuck at the old channel). So, I just "unmeshed it" (the C5), and did another soft reset. Working fine now and says ONLINE for ZIGBEE.
