Curious if anyone is up to undertaking the task of creating a Hubitat app that interfaces with the Xbox Smart Glass Rest API?
I'm currently using it to send GET HTTP commands, and it works well.
I have the xbox skill on alexa so I use it in routines along with Hubitat virtual switches and let Alexa handle the xbox control.
I also have a virtual contact sensor set up in Hubitat that links to Alexa so when I open the contact sensor in rule machine the command is sent to Alexa and Alexa powers the xbox on allowing me to power on xbox within rule machine
I used to do this too, but I’ve replaced my echo with google nests and mini’s.
This also allows a more local control and not a need to rely on services like Alexa.
The same could be said for the roomba app that was built.
