Replacement C8 Under Hubprotect - DOA

Hey Hubitat team - I've just received a replacement C8 under hubprotect and it seems to be DOA. I've plugged it into a known good (i.e. it charges my laptop and iPad) USB-C power supply and I'm getting no LED coming on. Am I just unlucky or is there something else I can do? I had moved the aerials across to it before I powered it up, is there any chance that one of the aerials could be faulty and have caused the new hub to fail?

Did you get it from amazon? the best thing to do is go to Warranty – Hubitat Support

Please try a power supply that uses a USB-A to USB-C cable to power the C8 Hub. Some USB-C power supplies require proper handshaking to supply 5VDC. However, any USB-A power supplies will always provide 5VDC without handshaking.

Sorry for the troubles. Please follow up on your warranty case or create a new case so we can further investigate.

Hi Bobby - the suggestion from above from @ogiewon was the right one - a standard USB-A to USB-C cable from a USB-A source did the trick. Should have just plugged it into its normal location instead of sitting it on the desk next to me.
