Looking for some help with the remotec zxt600. I'm having a heck of a time trying to control my daikin minisplit FTXS15LVJU. The remote is a daikin tk822.
I'm confused on the proper way to test codes.
using the built in remotec zwavetoAC ir extender zxt600 driver,
I'm doing the following;
on the commands page > Type in a code 601 e.g. > run > Configure > OFF , COOL etc. I can see the commands are being sent through on the events page, I can see the IR lights blink on/off after pushing a command(using my phone camera)
But I get no response from my Unit.
Using the daikin remote i can confirm a command by hearing a beep after turning on/off changing temp etc.
I've tried a bunch of codes from daikin section of the remotec website.
I guess my question is am I testing this right? What is the IR Code Number field for on the Preferences page? whats the difference?
Also, i read there's a way to "learn" the remote, but i can't seem to find any clear directions.
any help would be appreciated.
