Remote Admin

Where is the remote admin "enable" setting, I just bought another C8, and I not find the setting to allow remote admin.

it will automatically be registered for remote admin as long as it's logged into the same account as your other hub(s). Remote admin covers all hubs while Hub Protect has to be added to each hub.

So I have remote management for my other hubs, which I pay for. I see all 4 hubs, I see the new C8 I just bought, and it's online and I see it on my admin account, however I get this message only on the new C8 "This hub is not authorized for remote access"

My other 3 hub works for remote admin

So the "automatic" registering must not be working?

For giggles, reboot that hub... then check remote access again Like I said your remote admin covers all hubs on that account. Sometimes though it needs a kick from rebooting when first activated. In the mean time I'll tag Bobby.

ok, i will try rebooting.

ok, I rebooted, I still get "This hub is not authorized for remote access"

The hue is C8, platform Version 2.4.0.146

any update on this? I put in a ticket, still no remote admin

Yes, we have identified the root cause, and a fix for your third hub that's missing the Remote Admin will be applied by the end of the day. Be on the lookout for a message from support on your case, when the issue has been resolved.
