Hello all.
I am using a Hubitat Hub to integrate several Zigbee 4 button remotes into HomeKit. I have been using it for several weeks and it was all working great. Until today in the Hubitat app, while trying to sort some devices, I hit the configure button, and now I can’t add actions to the buttons in HomeKit. The buttons still do what I had previously assigned, I just cannot change the scenes/device commands.
(Now this may be coincidental, but I feel like I lost the ability to change commands right when I hit configure.)
I can tap the “single press add action” and select the command or scene, but when I try to exit and save the changes, I get “could not complete operation”.
I tried to fix this by disabling and reenabling the HK integration in Hubitat, no help.
I deleted all devices in the Hubitat app, fully removed the hub from HK, reset all HomeKit integrations, and assigned a new QR code. I then readded all devices from scratch, re pairing with Hubitat, no improvement. And now I’ve lost the actions they did do, since HK thinks they are new devices.
Any help anyone can offer would be great. Currently I’m dead in the water.
Something I noticed: the device page in HK no longer says “this accessory has not been certified to work with HomeKit…” since hitting Configure, nor does it say “you have unconfigured buttons” as I think it did before.
Btw I am only assigning buttons in HomeKit, not in Hubitat. I am only using Hubitat to expose the remote to HK.
