Remote access to new hub procedure

I am moving my son over from ST to HE. I just installed his hub this weekend.
I understand there is a one month free access trial to a new hub so I would like to get into his hub and install some apps/drivers from my housa.
What is the method to gain access? I have his MAC and HID. Do I have to sign up for remote access and then ....?

You heard right. The monthly Remote Admin comes with one month trial and the yearly comes with 2 months free. To sign up for Remote Admin check out this document:

How do I add him to my control group or get access to my son's hub? I set him up under his own email/pswd.

If he signs up for remote admin, he’ll get a month for free. You’d need to use his login info to access his hub remotely.

Or once remote admin is active, he can then add you as a guest, and then the hub will show up on your registered hubs list: My Hubitat

Thanks guys. I've told him to sign up and then hopefully walk him through giving me access with his credentials.

Another option is to install teamviewer and remote into his computer to set it up or set up a VPN as well.

I would normally do the old fashioned thing through the router but it's their work computer so this way Daddy can't be blamed for anything
