Reliability of "compatible" locks

So far the Zigbee version has been 100% trouble free. And i'm really happy with the keypad update!

so what is involved in swapping the module? Do you have to take the existing lock off the door? Are you replacing the whole thing or just the module?

you can replace just the inside part with two screws and boom, done. But the keypad (outside part) is actually nicer (ZP vs GBAK) so its worth swapping too, so add another 5 mins. The door lock cylinder, mounting plate and all that can remain. I didn't just buy the board (was contemplating that while on ebay) I just got the whole lockset used from amazon in "good / new" condition for 100 bucks. worth the money to have a lock that I can now count on.

I will just sell the zwave version on ebay for $50 and then the switch will only have costed $50 total. Heck i would pay 50 for the better keypad alone, the Zigbee comm switch is just icing on top.
