[RELEASE] Wink Door/Window Sensor / Wink Motion Sensor / Siren (coming soon)

It's a white label Dome product. I just made the Wink-->Hubitat switch and they worked flawlessly

@bcopeland - Excited for these! Thank you!

I was able to add the Wink Siren and Chime to the system - it comes in as "Dome Siren" and seems to have all the options and sounds.

Never mind the original message below. I found the answer here:

I have a "Quirky" Window/Door sensor (Tripper).

I got it added to HE as a device but having trouble getting it to work.
Will the Wink Lookout Door/Window Sensor work ?

No the Lookout is a z-wave device.. the one you are referring to is a zigbee device.. Have you tried generic zigbee contact sensor?

Yes - I was able to get it working using the generic zigbee contact (no temp) - as described here:

@bcopeland - these were working for about a day before they stopped getting updates. Is there anything I can try to debug? I have 2 of the Wink ZWave door/contact sensors

I did remove and re-add 1 of them and it worked for about a day or so and then nothing. it's also really close to the hub so distance isn't an issue. I'd hate to throw these out but need to figure out something that works

Yea.. Can you turn on debug logging and then trigger an open/close event? and paste the log?

--- Live Log Started, waiting for events ---

Here's a log with a few open/close events. It's working now but it also worked the first few times I paired it too and then just stopped working - I think in about a day. I'll update once it stops registering

side-note - I have this sensor really close to the hub for testing to avoid any distance issues

Ok.. well that didn't help.. Can you do the same when it stops working.. I want to see if it is sending something that the driver isn't handling..

It took a few days but 1 of the 2 Wink sensors has stopped working. Nothing appeared in the logs when the door was opened/closed a few times. The battery level is 86% which was last updated this morning. There was some open/close events yesterday but that's it.

Front Door battery is 86%

I guess since the other door/window sensor is still working I can't say it's a driver issue.. only that both sensors were working great with Wink.

Sorry there's nothing else to really go on here.

FWIW here's the device details from both:

deviceType: 256
inClusters: 0x5E,0x86,0x72,0x5A,0x73,0x80,0x71,0x30,0x85,0x59,0x84,0x70
protocolVersion: 4.5
hardwareVersion: 65
firmwareVersion: 3.80
deviceId: 1
manufacturer: 383

Hey Joe, what became of this? saw a great deal 15 bucks per sensor.
How are they holding up?

TY

Hi @Rxich - the Wink sensors are working great! I had a lot of issues up front with them not reporting status. However, I also had similar problems with a few other Z-Wave devices and ultimately got a Zwave range extender and everything's worked great ever since.

Are there any updates on the siren?

Its a white label Dome product. The built-in Dome siren driver works.

Plus 1. I have the original siren from Wink (made by Dome) and the built in driver works fantastic.

This one? I want to buy and your comment gave me the confidence.

Yep, that's the one.
Works great for my needs and the battery life has been fantastic.

Does it plug in, or just work in battery?

I apologize for maybe some laziness on my part searching or putting forth more efffort. Incredibly busy the next few days with work and have a massive issue with a lying and deceptive 16yo sneaking out of the house and such. I have two Wink dome sirens as posted and pictured above. They linked up to Hubitat without issue and I can test sirens and chimes within the device. However, when I try to do a "Simple Automation Rule" there's really no options for chimes and sounds. I was able to set an automation with door sensors but it defaulted to the siren and the only option was for me to set a limit for it to "only" blare for 1 minute. I ultimately want to chose a simple chime during the day letting us know the doors have been opened but during overnight hours I was the blaring and all lights to come on in the house. I started to play with the Hubitat Safety Monitor but didn't get terribly far, is that my best place to start? Or somewhere else?
