[RELEASE] Tuya Smart Siren Zigbee driver

Hi @silox ,
Yes, having this particular model (_TZE204_t1blo2bj TS0601) will speed up the development. I have the previous model (_TZE200_t1blo2bj), but there are differences between the two models that I can't handle without having the device on my desk... I can return it to you after the driver is ready.

Please send me a DM for the address details.

Hi @kkossev any chance to look into this again as well?

Still using Markus' driver but would be nice to have your driver enhanced about this model too. Please let me know you need anything from my side.

Thanks in advance

Hi @jb1 , when I start working on the _TZE204 _t1blo2bj TS0601 siren, I will look at this device too.

Version 1.2.2 was pushed for an update via HPM.
It fixes the problems with the TS0601 _TZE204_t1blo2bj manufacturer.

I wanted to follow-up here and confirm with everyone that the updated driver works great with the TS0601 _TZE204_t1blo2bj variant. Great work @kkossev, very much appreciated!

Yes, I just saw this and also confirmed the new driver works great with that model.
Thank you very much!!!!!

@kkossev Did you find by chance time to look into Manufacturer: _TZE200_d0yu2xgi _TYST11_d0yu2xgi as well?

i know it figures out the power based on whether it is plugged in when you pair it.. but if i add batteries after will it work on batteries when power is out?

also either a bug in the driver or the device..

when pushing just strobe the alarm sounds as well..

It is not possible to activate individually only the LEDs or the sound, so the standard HE command ‘Strobe’ also activates the siren.

Can you test what will happen if you set the Alarm Volume to 0 (zero) and then click on the Strobe button? If this works, then I can implement setting the volume to 0 automatically on the driver (and restoring it automatically later).

The device does not report properly when the power source has changed to batteries, so it is not possible to use it as a power-down sensor.

Also, the batteries are depleted very fast - mine went to zero after just a few days. So the batteries can be used for a short backup purpose only.

i just tested with it unplugged with batteries and it played a tune fine.

Yes, playing a melody works fine on batteries, what I was saying is that the power source reported by the device doesn’t change.

This device is also a Zigbee router- probably this is the reason why the batteries are depleting fast.

thats all i really need if someone breaks in after cutting power when house is empty

two issues with this.. no way to put to 0 with low medium high..

ie

so i attempted to play a sound with 0 and 1 etc it appears the lowest it will go is to 33%

also tried mute then strobe.. it unmutes and plays the alarm

I will check the code later, but if the Tuya volume enum value 0 means low volume, then it seems it will not be possible to mute the siren.

Are you stuck on the Tuya zigbee siren?
I really like the Ecolink chime siren.
I've got custom voice messages announcing stuff, like, "Zigbee Radio Is Off", lol.
You can record 20(?) or so on a micro sd card.
The smoke/co alarm is quite loud, for the zcombo in the garage.
It also has a battery and sends main/battery messages.

toya is fine.. has usb power .. and is very innexpensize.. ecolink is very pricy

Yeah, currently 79 bucks on Amazon.
It's my first foray into voice.
I don't think I'll venture any farther, as in web-connected stuff, but having it announce various things is cool, rather than remembering what different tunes mean.
