That’s one of the reasons I abandoned the first driver and set up the second one I posted (without the scrolling option). IIRC that long delay is proportional to the length of the string and it works better with shorter messages. I couldn’t reliably resolve it. I wrote the drivers purely with ChatGPT as I have zero coding experience.
Thanks for your reply. I have many thoughts about ChatGPT, experience, etc. For some reason the title of a book I had long forgot about jumped to the forefront of my brain or whatever part it is that acknowledges archived memory. Though my thinking was inspired by your reply, your profile picture is what actually sparked the recollection.

To the matter at hand. Scrolling. It's good to know this tool is available and it's now in my toolbox. Having managed to learn enough to experience it, I realize that cycle is likely how I will proceed. This likely would have been true even if the loop was tighter. Now I know.
