I'm not familiar with the IQ Lock, but since a door lock really isn't a sensor it's not really surprising that it doesn't show up in the summary report. I'm afraid there's really nothing I can do if it isn't reported. Maybe a future firmware update will include it.
On the IQ panel, when I go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Edit I see the same list of devices that come across to Hubitat.
When I go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Installation > Devices > Automations > Edit I see the Z-Wave and the PowerG devices
My assumption is that those devices are inaccessible.
Yep. Never saw a PowerG device used for automation before, perhaps that's something new. In any case, for whatever reason the automation devices aren't exposed in the C4 interface.
Or maybe they are somehow, but there's no documentation for that interface. Someone hacked it for Home Assistant, and I took that code and modified it for HE.
I don't think they show up in Control4. The C4 driver goes back a few years before they even had locks. There's been rumors of a new C4 driver, but that's been a while.
Thanks for the replies. That's unfortunate because those locks work well and have proven to have great battery life.
I have only found one viable workaround that allows door lock control from the IQP4/ADC and Hubitat simultaneously. It requires an August/Yale lock that supports Buletooth and Z-Wave and a separate August/Yale WiFi Bridge. I have to connect the lock to the IQP4 via Z-Wave. Then, pair the lock via Bluetooth to the WiFi Bridge to make the lock visable in the August/Yale app. Finally, I use Hubitat August Home App to allow integration with HE.
It's not ideal (not to mention, expensive), but it works and has been reliable.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for a new C4 driver.
If your system is monitored, you might be able to control the locks via ADC integration...
Can you expand on that? I have only seen ADC integrations that offer limited HE functionality (arm, disarm).
I've been using Home Assistant as my primary home automation integration tool for the last year. I thought HE's ADC integration had caught up...
