Anyone written something similar i can use as a starting pt? i have orbi routers in our rental condos and also c7s. I am not paying $22 per year times two to not be nagged by netgear/no-ip
I already pay 5 per month for a ddnsfree account with my own domain and could add custom names there but would need to schedule an update script/app to run on my hubitat.
No-IP uses a captcha when I do mine manually. I think the intent of those is to defeat BOTs which is essentially what a script would be.
first version of my dynamic dns updater script.. works for dynu dns..
but the base url is encoded in the parameters so it most likely will work for others similiarly and if not one fx will need to be changed.

v 2 avail. some new attributes to track update last and future times and cleanup of the code and logging..
v 2.1 add last result attribute to be used as status display on device list. or in dashboards
